The LogicalWaste BioS2 is a locally designed and manufactured biological desulphurisation system that delivers cleaner biogas with minimal operating costs and maintenance.

With its innovative engineering and integrated control system, the BioS2 achieves maximum efficiency, outperforming chemical-based and imported systems in both performance and cost-effectiveness.

The BioS2 can be designed to handle any flow rate and Hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) content. Typically, the BioS2 reducers H2S content to less than 100ppm however this can be reduced further if required.

How it Works

Biogas is directed through the BioS2 filled with packing material. Microorganisms colonize the packing media creating a biofilm. Hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) from the biogas diffuses into the biofilm, where bacteria use it as an energy source, oxidizing it into sulphate and elemental sulphur.
